Medicare Supplement Plans are available to anyone who is receiving Medicare. Although private insurance providers are obligated to provide the same basic coverage to every lettered policy, they do have the option to charge various premiums. It is run by an administrative board called the Medicare Part D Insurance Company.

Medicare Advantage plans 2022 will cover some of the basic services that are covered by the original Medicare program. The basic benefit provided by most plans is to cover expenses that Medicare would pay for in the individual’s first 30 days of receiving care.

These plans can be tailored to meet the unique needs of the person paying for them. They can be purchased directly from a company, through an agent, or a brokerage.
